About

The First-year Student Orientation Camp has been held since the academic year 97, targeting incoming first-year student. It is conducted in multiple sessions and includes a series of themed courses designed to help students familiarize themselves with the campus environment. It also guides first-year students to contemplate the differences between university and high school, with the aim of transitioning them from information receivers to knowledge creators.

Starting from the academic year 111, in response to adjustments in the number of weeks per semester and the diverse needs of students in information reception, the camp was revamped to include activities such as real-life puzzles, club fairs, booth setups, and seminars. In the academic year 112, a music festival was added to the camp by incorporating club performances. In the academic year 113, the camp’s content will be adjusted by incorporating online-themed modules and increasing opportunities for first-year student interaction within the activities.
